Refund policy

We are confident that the high quality of our product will speak for itself, but if you feel your chocolate is in some way disappointing, please send us an email within 10 days of purchase to shop@normandlenore.com telling us where and when you purchased, providing photographs of the product, and saving all packaging materials for our investigation.

Storage of our products 

Most candy types keep for a long time if you take proper care to store it well. As we typically don’t add Best Before dates to our treats, here are a few guidelines to help your candy/chocolate stay fresh for as long as possible:

  • Seal it well. Make sure no air can get into or out of the container you use, whether it be a plastic bag or some sort of container. Do not use a paper bag.
  • Keep it cool and dry. Store the candy in a place where the temperature is relatively steady. Our products are best stored at or around 18-20c.  Temperature abuse can cause the chocolate to bloom. Bloom will not harm the chocolate however it will look white and blotchy. 
  • Keep away from potential pests. That doesn't mean your husband! :) Make sure the ants or your pets don't sniff it out and invade your candy stash.
  • Our products typically are best if consumed within 5 months of manufacture (for fully chocolate coated or solid chocolate items, such as Oreo’s, Caramels, and Peanut Butter Cups), where as chocolate dipped items (such as Sour Keys, Licorice or Pretzel Rods) are best if consumed within 2 months of manufacture. 

Returns 

To be eligible for a return, the goods must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. If we find that the goods have not been returned to us in fully re-saleable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the goods. All claims must be submitted within 10 days of purchase.

Damages and issues


Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is  damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Given the nature of our products we cannot guarantee their freshness once they leave our facility.  Fully coated items are best before 5 months after production, and partially coated products are best before 2 months after production.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on clearance items or gift cards.

During the hot summer months (June through mid-September), Although we use heat resistant packaging and Ice Packs we unfortunately cannot guarantee safe arrival to destinations. Returns or Refunds will not be given for melted treats. If possible, order online for pick-up at the shop so your purchases are waiting for you.

Refunds


We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
